Öffentliche Meinung in den USA dreht sich

The latest CNN/USA Today/Gallup survey finds a majority of Americans oppose the war with Iraq — a substantial change from March when the public was evenly divided. The poll also shows that despite the controversy over U.S. treatment of prisoners at Guantanamo Bay, a majority of Americans favor continued operation of the detention facility. President George W. Bush’s overall approval rating remains at 47%, while a majority of Americans, 51%, disapprove.
